‘Mundesley Fire Brigade - The Last 100 Years’ the title of our new display for the 2008 season was extremely well received by our visitors. ‘Excellent Display’ ‘Well Presented’ ‘Fascinating’ are just some of the comments we received, which of course gives us much encouragement because an awful amount of hard work goes into these presentations. We have had just under 2000 visitors this season including 49 children and six teachers from Earlham High School in Norwich. We were also visited by 34 members from the 1st Sea Scout Group (Captain Bowens Own) who made a presentation to the museum of an account of Coast Watching duties carried out by scouts at Mundesley during the First World War. We are shortly to be visited by a group of students from the UEA - this is something which happens every October and we look forward to seeing them. All in all we have had a good season. We always need volunteers - if you can give just one hour a week during the season we would be so grateful. Our contact number is: - 01263 720879.

If you have never visited our museum please try to find time, you will be made very welcome and we are sure you will be surprised at just how many artefacts and photographs we have managed to display in such a small space.
The Museum closed for the winter on 30th September, but will re-open at Easter 2009, with new displays.
